Bulbul makes an impression even before the food reaches the table. Housed within a transformed 130-year-old printing press, the restaurant takes its design inspiration from an enchanted Indian forest. The interiors combine rich textures, contemporary art, lush greenery and dramatic detailing to create an atmosphere that feels theatrical yet inviting. Brushed velvet seating, bold animal-print elements, a striking water fountain and layered decor add to its maximalist character. The restaurant is designed for long, convivial evenings, with its warm lighting and intimate corners encouraging guests to settle in over food and cocktails. There is also a private dining room for up to 10 guests, making Bulbul suitable for celebrations and special gatherings.

Bulbul London serves micro regional Indian food curated by three chefs Rohan, Yash and Ashfaq. The food presented in small portions takes the guests back to the roots of India. The food served here not only satisfies the taste buds but takes the guests through the journey of traditional India. The menu is an exploration of India's regional diversity, moving from Goan and Rajasthani flavours to Tamil, Mughlai and other culinary traditions. The Forest Pepper Crab Dosa is one of the standout dishes, pairing a crisp Tamil Nadu-style dosa with crab, forest pepper masala and house pickles. Aunty Marie’s Goan Shrimp Balchao brings a punchier combination of aged shrimp, vinegar and chilli, served with melba toast.
