Once you enter the restaurant, the atmosphere is tangible. In your mind, you may have built a picture of the scene with dark wooden floors, cane details, aging brass fittings, retro safari tent details, leafy nooks and crannies, exposed ceiling tenting, and overall colonial themes. It is astonishing how the attention to detail works well here. And to be candid, Rudyard Kipling even has a seat at the bar.

The menu is steaming with North Indian regional cuisines: Awadhi, Hyderabadi, Kashmiri, and Mughlai food reigns supreme. Guests start off with subzani paneer tikka or broccoli dak bangla. Further, the mains with murgh rezala and rampuri gosht dum biryani are great! I cannot stress enough how good Nalli nihari is; a slow-cooked lamb masterpiece! It is hard to imagine how they can create such depth of flavor in the vegetarian dishes. Don't forget dessert, Paan ice cream, and malai toast send the crowds wild!
