Vanaha Gin
Vanaha Gin is an Indian artisanal forest gin inspired by the biodiversity and sensory richness of India’s forests. Crafted at Revelry Distillery in the Sattari forests of North Goa, it brings together 24 botanicals sourced from different regions of India, creating a spirit with an earthy, woody and aromatic character. Designed as a sipping gin, Vanaha Artisanal Forest Gin presents a contemporary interpretation of Indian botanicals through a highly distinctive production process.

Vanaha Gin was created by Vaniitha Jaiin and is produced at Revelry Distillery in Sattari, Goa. Its proprietary five step process combines botanical maceration, copper pot distillation, vapour infusion, cold vacuum distillation and staging. The gin uses 24 botanicals, including Himalayan and Macedonian juniper, Assam wild lemon, Sikkim mandarin, deodar, patchouli, cacao nibs, palash, vetiver and Goan tirphal. It is made in small batches, with no added sugar or artificial flavours.

Tasting Notes
Vanaha Gin opens with bright wild lemon, sweet orange and kaffir lime leaf, followed by subtle wild berry fruitiness. The palate is smooth and layered, with juniper at its core, complemented by woody deodar and pine, while patchouli, cacao and vetiver bring earthy depth. Its finish is long and silky, with gentle wild spice lingering on the palate. The 2026 World Gin Awards listed the gin at 42.8% ABV and described earthy, herbal and lightly smoky notes with coriander and green herb nuances.

Cocktail Recipe - Vanaha Forest Gold
Vanaha’s earthy, woody character calls for ingredients that enhance its forest inspired depth without masking its delicate citrus and juniper core. This cocktail pairs wild citrus, cacao and saffron honey with a subtle floral lift, creating something elegant, aromatic and distinctly luxurious.
Ingredients:
60 ml Vanaha Artisanal Forest Gin
15 ml fresh lemon juice
10 ml saffron honey syrup
5 ml cacao nib infused water
2 drops orange blossom water
Edible gold dust
Dehydrated orange wheel
Instructions:
Add Vanaha Artisanal Forest Gin, fresh lemon juice, saffron honey syrup, cacao nib infused water and orange blossom water to a shaker with ice.
Shake gently for 10 to 12 seconds, allowing the citrus and botanical notes to integrate without overpowering the gin.
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass lightly dusted with edible gold.
Garnish with a dehydrated orange wheel and a very light touch of saffron threads.
The result is a refined forest inspired cocktail, where bright citrus opens into juniper and delicate florals before giving way to cacao, saffron and earthy botanical depth. It is luxurious without becoming overly sweet, allowing the character of the gin to remain at the centre.
