This Yello Mint Julep brings a vibrant twist to the classic Southern cocktail, pairing the refreshing lift of fresh mint with the smooth character of Yello Designer Whisky. It is a bright, cooling serve that highlights the whisky’s gentle sweetness and makes for an easy, elegant summer sip.


Ingredients:

  • 60 ml Yello Designer Whisky

  • 15 ml simple syrup (or about 1 teaspoon sugar dissolved in 2 teaspoons water)

  • 8–10 fresh mint leaves (plus an extra sprig for garnish)

  • Crushed ice


Instructions:

  1. In a julep cup or a rocks glass, gently muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup (or sugar + water) to release the mint’s oils and aroma.

  2. Add the 60 ml Yello Whisky to the glass.

  3. Pack the glass tightly with crushed ice and stir briefly to chill and combine.

  4. Top off with more crushed ice to form a frosty mound on top.

  5. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig (slap it between your palms first to release the aroma) and enjoy immediately.
