Old Delhi market has a rich history, and some of the food stalls there are over ninety years old, both of which provide a glimpse into the past of India.

Method -:


Step 1.

Add all ingredients into the mixing glass.


Step 2.

Now add bullet ice, give little stir for 20 – 25 seconds.


Step 3.

Fine strain it into Old Fashioned Glassware with a block of ice and garnish it with cinnamon stick.


Old Monk Drinks

Old Monk Sour:

  • 2 oz Old Monk rum

  • 1 oz lemon juice

  • 1 oz simple syrup

  • 1 egg white

  • 1 dash bitters (optional)

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake well without ice. Add ice and shake again until chilled. Strain into a glass and garnish with a cherry or a lemon twist.


Old Monk Swizzle:

  • 2 oz Old Monk rum

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1 oz simple syrup

  • 4 oz club soda

  • mint leaves (optional)

Combine the rum, lime juice, and simple syrup in a shaker and shake well. Pour over ice in a tall glass and top with club soda. Garnish with mint leaves, if desired.


Old Monk Mojito:

  • 2 oz Old Monk rum

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1 oz simple syrup

  • 4-6 mint leaves

  • club soda

Muddle the mint leaves in the bottom of a shaker. Add the rum, lime juice, and simple syrup and shake well. Pour over ice in a tall glass and top with club soda. Garnish with a sprig of mint.


Old Monk Daiquiri:

  • 2 oz Old Monk rum

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 1 oz simple syrup

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake well. Strain into a glass and serve over ice.
