Daku Rum is produced by Gwalior-based Bapuna Alcobrew, the same distillers behind Chambal Gin, with deep roots in Indian spirits making that stretch over three generations. Both main variants, Daku Gold and Daku Silver, are blended in-house using spirits distilled at the Bapuna unit, then infused with natural flavours and spices to enhance their profiles. The brand pays homage to the Chambal region’s legacy of defiance and rugged terrain, capturing this narrative in flavour, label design and overall brand ethos.

Daku Silver presents a lighter profile with notes of vanilla, nutmeg and mace, leading to a crisp, clean palate with floral undertones and refreshing sweetness. The White Daku is a refined, modern cocktail designed to elevate the clean, vegetal sugarcane character of Daku Silver Rum. Delicate floral, citrus, and mineral notes are layered with restraint, allowing the rum’s purity and gentle sweetness to remain the star.

The White Daku is a refined, modern cocktail designed to elevate the clean, vegetal sugarcane character of Daku Silver Rum. Delicate floral, citrus, and mineral notes are layered with restraint, allowing the rum’s purity and gentle sweetness to remain the star.


Ingredients:

  • 60 ml Daku Silver Rum

  • 15 ml clarified pomelo juice

  • 10 ml white cacao butter–washed syrup

  • 5 ml jasmine flower distillate

  • 2 drops saline solution (premium sea salt)

  • Edible silver leaf (for garnish)


Instructions:

  1. Chill a hand-blown crystal coupe glass until well frosted.

  2. Add Daku Silver Rum, clarified pomelo juice, cacao butter–washed syrup, jasmine distillate, and saline solution to a mixing glass with clear ice.

  3. Stir gently until perfectly chilled and silky in texture.

  4. Strain into the chilled coupe glass.

  5. Garnish delicately with a floating shard of edible silver leaf.


The White Daku is a minimalist luxury expression, which is soft, aromatic, and quietly powerful. Each sip reveals Daku Silver Rum’s natural sugarcane elegance, framed by florals and subtle richness. A cocktail meant for slow appreciation, not distraction.
