Le Cirque Delhi Luxurious Dining Place At Leela Chanakyapuri

The famous New York-based fine dining establishment, Le Cirque, has opened its first Asian presence at The Leela Palace in New Delhi. It is Delhi's most prestigious fine-dining establishment, often entertaining celebrities, socialites, and dignitaries from around the world. The avant-garde bar, complete with an unique walk-in wine cellar, an engaging chef's table, Delhi's most renowned show kitchen, and exclusive private dining rooms, is brought to Delhi by Le Cirque, the great landmark restaurant of New York.

The Le Cirque a 144-seat Italian Restaurant's themes include glamorous ambiance and gustatory delight. Its Italian cuisine is pleasing to the palate as well as the eyes. The restaurant's main point is the chef's private dining room, and the display kitchen is its major attraction. The bar and patio of this restaurant on the 10th floor of The Leela Palace are decorated in rustic earthy tones, bare wood furnishings, and dim lighting. Diners looking for a complete three-course meal with wine will find enough to choose from on the menu.

An Italian owns the New York Le Cirque, a French restaurant. The Delhi version is attempting to be less French and more Italian. However, the menu includes items from both nations.

There are classic Le Cirque meals, as well as dishes devised by chef Abhaysingh Bhoite, or Micky as he is called at the Delhi restaurant, an Indian who grew up in Italy.

Chef Mellor has over 33 years of international experience, including spells at three Michelin-starred Nico Ladenis in London and the similarly rigorous position as private chef to Jordan's King. It's no surprise that the wine list at Le Cirque contains over 350 top-shelf wines, which are served by the restaurant's highly knowledgeable staff.
