Recipe For Cosmopolitan Drink
The Cosmopolitan is a classic drink with a long and illustrious history. It peaked in popularity during the 1990s when HBO's "Sex and the City" was at its apex. The pink-hued Martini-style cocktail was a Favourite of the show's characters. It debuted in the second season and went on to become a series regular after that. The Cosmopolitan was perhaps America's most popular drink for a decade, and bartenders couldn't work a shift without creating hundreds of them for thirsty customers.
Ingredients In Cosmopolitan Cocktail
30ml Vodka ( Grey Goose )
15ml Lime Juice, Freshly Squeezed
15ml Triple Sec
30ml Cranberry Juice
Garnish: Lime Wheel
Recipe Cosmopolitan Cocktail
Method -:
Step 1.
In a shaker with ice, mix the vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and cranberry juice. Shake until thoroughly chilled.
Step 2.
Pour the drink into a chilled cocktail glass.
Step 3.
Serve with a lime wheel as a garnish.

Cosmopolitan Cocktail History
The first Cosmopolitan was invented in 1985 by Miami bartender Cheryl Cook while working at the Strand in South Beach, according to bartending legend and writer Gary Regan. Cook riffed on the traditional Kamikaze with a recently released citrus-flavoured vodka and a dash of cranberry juice, eager to create a new drink for the Martini glass.
How To Make A Cosmopolitan Drink
The Cosmo was a throwback to a bygone era. Vodka was king in the late 1980s and early 1990s, but flavoured vodka was only getting started. Absolut's first flavoured vodka, the lemony Citron, gave bartenders a new tool to play with. Cecchini combined it with Ocean Spray in the Cosmo, and the vodka-cranberry combination is still the most popular in most places today. Of course, you may use whatever citrus-flavoured vodka and cranberry juice that you choose. Just be careful not to put too much cranberry in your drink.
