What Is A Mojito
The Mojito is one of the most well-known rum drinks today, with a formula that is well-known all over the world. This popular beverage may be traced back to Cuba and the 16th-century cocktail El Draque. El Draque was made using aguardiente (a cane liquor precursor to rum), lime, mint, and sugar and was named after Sir Francis Drake, an English sea commander and adventurer who visited Havana in 1586.
Although it was allegedly drank for therapeutic grounds, it's easy to think that drinkers were drawn to its flavour and effects.The aguardiente was eventually substituted by rum, and the name was altered to Mojito. It's unknown when the Mojito originally appeared in cocktail literature, although it was in the 1932 edition of "Sloppy Joe's Bar Cocktail Manual," a book from the legendary Havana establishment.
What Is In A Mojito
Almost all of the components in the Mojito are native to Cuba, which is logical. To make a tasty, playful drink, rum, lime, mint, and sugar (the island nation harvests sugar cane) are mixed together and then extended with thirst-quenching club soda. Traditionally, the cocktail is made with unaged white rum, which has a light, crisp flavour. Using Cuban rum will add authenticity to your dish, but many current Cuban rums are lighter in character than their predecessors, so you might want to experiment with white rums until you discover one you enjoy most.

Ingredients Of Mojito
3 Mint Leaves
15ml Simple Syrup
60ml White Rum ( Bacardi )
22ml Lime Juice, Freshly Squeezed
Club soda, To Top Up
Garnish: Mint Sprig
Garnish: Lime Wheel
Making OF Mojito
Method -:
Step 1.
In a shaker, combine the mint and simple syrup and muddle lightly.
Step 2.
Give it a good shake with the rum, lime juice, and ice.
Step 3,
Pour over fresh ice in a highball glass.
Step 4.
Club soda should be poured on top.
Step 5.
Serve with a lime wheel and a mint sprig on top.
Mojito Pronounced
